Contemporary Art Colorado is an initiative of the Colorado Contemporary Arts Collaboration (CCAC), whose purpose is to build public awareness and appreciation of contemporary art in Colorado. The CCAC is an informal association of 11 contemporary art organizations including DADA, formed for the purpose of advancing contemporary art in Colorado.

Kirkland Museum displays a nationally important collection of 20th-century decorative arts, with over 3,300 examples of Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau, Glasgow Style, Wiener Werkstätte, De Stijl, Bauhaus, Art Deco, Modern, and Pop Art. A retrospective of Colorado’s unique and important painter, Vance Kirkland, and over 700 works of other 20th century Colorado artists are also on view. Tour Wednesday through Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
